ErfanGolzari

DevOps engineer with 5+ years building and running production systems. I started out in full-stack development, so I'm as comfortable reading application code as I am configuring the infrastructure under it. Most of my work is CI/CD, keeping services monitored and online, and tracking down problems wherever they show up — network, service, or code.

Pazh/ DevOps Engineer

  • Established end-to-end application delivery by building CI/CD pipelines in Gitea Actions (test, build, and deploy stages) across isolated dev, staging, and production environments, each with dedicated configuration, enabling safe and repeatable releases.
  • Provisioned and configured development and production servers on Proxmox, standardizing infrastructure and isolating workloads per environment.
  • Detected outages before clients noticed them by deploying a full monitoring and alerting stack (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus) with proactive alert rules, improving observability and uptime.
  • Secured and segmented the office network by configuring multi-WAN routing, VLAN segmentation, and firewall rules on MikroTik.

Vira Omid Co./ DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer

  • Eliminated environment inconsistencies across developer machines and customer deployments by building a complete GitLab CI/CD pipeline from scratch with standardized Docker build environments.
  • Enabled consistent, fully tested production releases by designing and enforcing a Gitflow branching strategy tied to sprint-based release cycles.
  • Hardened the software supply chain by integrating SonarQube static analysis and post-build container image vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Sustained reliable connectivity by managing network infrastructure (MikroTik/Cisco, firewall rules, IP-based access control, multi-WAN load balancing, VPN routing) over TCP/IP and HTTP.

Animelist/ Full-Stack & Infrastructure Engineer

  • Delivered and operated the entire platform single-handedly by owning all infrastructure, backend, frontend, and mobile development, sustaining service for 10k daily active users.
  • Achieved the fastest content delivery among competitors by engineering an automated pipeline for video acquisition, encoding, and publishing.
  • Sustained high platform uptime as the sole always-on on-call engineer, responding to incidents across infrastructure, network, and application layers to keep the service available around the clock.
